Abcess Tooth Home Remedy
hat exactly is an abcess? Well by definition, an abcess is a small pocket of pus that forms around inflamed tissue. The body seeks to contain the infection (from poisoning the whole blood stream) by isolating it in a pocket. Abcesses can form in other parts of the body also.

Some people have a tooth abcess and don’t even know it. The pocket can be tiny, but trust me; it will only grow in time to become severely painful. Some people find out that they have a tooth abcess when their life insurance agent tells them that their c-reactive protein levels are off the chart and they had better get to a doctor to find out what’s going on. (Life insurance companies use such tests to predict the odds of heart disease and cancer.)

So what generally causes a tooth abcess?

Several things can contribute to a tooth abcess:

* Damage to the tooth from trauma that occurred years ago from a sharp blow or fall. Some tooth damage can occur in childhood and show up late in life.

* Aggressive orthodontic (braces) treatments that stressed the tooth

* Fillings in the tooth which damaged the nerve of the tooth

* Leaking or old fillings that allow bacteria to go below and damage the delicate pulp and nerve fibers of the living tooth.

* Poor fitting crowns and an allergy to cheap crown metals (nickel, rhodi

What concerns me the most about an untreated or neglected tooth abcess is its ability to infect the heart and cause a potentially fatal case of endocarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart.) And the bacteria that thrive in the abcess can travel throughout the body and make colitis and digestive disorders much worse by damaging these delicate membranes via inflammation.

There is a growing concern that have a traditional root canal entombs a tiny amount of the infection and that a latent, lingering long effect upon c-reactive protein levels leaves the unsuspecting person predisposed for heart disease and cancer in the long run. Several studies have pointed to this hypothesis and many are worried about how many people now have this heightened risk and don’t know it after having a root canal. This is chronic cellular inflammatory response I am speaking of that you will hear more about in the future.

No oral antibiotic, Collodial Silver, or Grapefruit seed extract will completely kill the infection. There are only two true options: pre-treat the infection and then pull the tooth, or do a root canal, which cleans out the infection somewhat.

I can tell you that Liquid Propolis, Colloidal Silver, Grapefruit Seed Extract will markedly knock down the symptoms, but the infection will flare up again and never actually go away (completely). You see the real infection is deep down at the root level and that’s where you have to get to it. Anything else will just squash it, but not eliminate it.
